beautiful and fragile

July 16, 2019

The Irish language is not unlike candlelight – beautiful and fragile, romantic and practical, but scary to those who’ve been burnt before. Candles work the way they’ve always worked, but now that the world has changed we see them differently and have different expectations. And while old-fashioned, simple candles still exist, new kinds of candles have now also become available. What’s more, light bulbs and light fixtures have been developed to replicate the candlelight effect – never the other way around.
